Thanks to Ms. Fion Chau, Director of Deriv (HK) Limited and Head of HK Office, shared her valuable insights and experience in handling due diligence in the insurance sector with our students. During the sharing session, Ms. Chau highlighted that it is not uncommon for insurance companies to pursue expansion through mergers and acquisitions or the formation of joint ventures. Due diligence is an important process in mergers and acquisitions or making a strategic investment.  Students left with a deeper understanding of the due diligence process and its impact on the success of expansion and investment strategies.
